A message from our founder

Welcome!

I am a board certified Emergency Physician and Telehealth innovator, but most importantly, I am a daughter, a wife and a mother. I deeply understand the challenges of caring for our fragile and aging loved ones while balancing the rest of life- not to mention the importance of our own self care and health.  Excellent day to day care for our aging population is needed now more than ever.

I founded myMDcare Senior Living with a goal of creating a space where I would want to receive care for myself and my loved ones.  The world is technologically evolving rapidly but our basic needs have stayed the same- love, community and care. As an Indian-American who grew up in Virginia, the importance of showing respect to our elders was deeply ingrained in me from a young age. I still call my childhood friend’s parents Mr. and Mrs.

Navigating senior care can be overwhelming. I am a straight shooter and will always be honest with you. You will find my leadership style for the home to include- servant leadership, attention to detail, transparency, empathy and humor. Laughter is the best medicine.

When a resident joins our community, the family becomes a part of our community too. Finding the right fit helps everyone thrive- and makes our time together truly meaningful. Caregiving is hard work. I will repeat that caregiving is hard work. It is very important to me that we all- families, staff and I - are committed to work together as a team; top of mind having the shared goal of providing care with safety, love, dignity and respect to our residents and to one another. I am here to be an advocate and support however I can be within the growing Senior community.
